This isn't the first time artist Ludovic Baron has revisited a classic painting. After Eugène Delacroix's "Liberty" and Théodore Géricault's "The Raft of the Medusa," it was Thomas Couture's "The Romans of the Decadence" that inspired the photographer. The masterpiece in the Musée d'Orsay overwhelmed Ludovic with emotion when he first saw it ten years ago. He returned to see it, in a large format, to consider a modern and spectacular reinterpretation. Inspired, he asked numerous prominent figures to join his ambitious project. A top-tier cast that conveys a positive message about inclusion.
